Help bring the joy of musical instruments back into the hands of our students. Over the past year, our general music students have been learning music distance from a distance. Now that they will be returning back to class, they will finally have the opportunity to play with real-life instruments. Unfortunately, the constant moving of instruments has left many of them damaged and in need of some repair.
The funds from this project will ensure that students can play their own instruments from a distance, while still being able to have a fulfilling in-person experience.
The loop stations will allow the choral and band teachers to have the expected music played on repeat as we walk around the room to help students individually, while everyone practices from a distance. The tripod will be used to record student performances to be able to share with family members. The boomwhackers will be used added to our collection so that every student has their own. And the wire cutters will allow the teachers to repair broken ukuleles and guitars.
