The use of collaborative groups is a significant part of the individualized education students receive in our classroom. The desks will assist us in this goal because they will allow us to work as individuals and then circle into groups as needed. We will be able to do this easily and quickly to ensure minimal disruption to our classroom atmosphere. Collaboration allows the students the opportunity to learn from one another while they develop higher-level thinking skills! By donating to this project, you will help us create a learning environment where students can work with their peers focused on the same skills. Students will be able to use one another as a sounding board when needed, and it will allow those who have a solid understanding of the skills to take their learning to the next level.
