In a classroom, a chair is an essential aspect that every student needs. However, when it comes to chairs it is not a one-chair-fits-all kind of mentality. While some students can sit in the normal chairs that are provided, many students seek a chair that allows for movement. My students in my classroom are active. They are full of energy and excitement. One way that I want to encourage their excitement and energy is to provide them with flexible seating options. Flexible seating gives students the power to choose which chair will be the most beneficial to their learning. This can allow students to help create an environment that will best suit their needs. I want my students to feel empowered and comfortable as they continue in their learning this year.
