Because our students are working both in-school at at-home, they need to have access to materials their families can understand. So often in the last few years, grown-ups have said they didn't understand the "new math." My goal is to marry "new math" with "old math" by using interactive notebooks to help families feel successful when working at home and school. In order to do this, I plan to use TeachersPayTeachers gift cards to purchase these materials. By providing interactive materials and concepts in a student-friendly format, families will feel more equipped to assist with remote learning days. Our students and their families will not have to dread spending unnecessary time trying to wade through complicated concepts and instead will be able to work through these concepts together with ease!
