Students will be back to campus full time! Not only is this going to be a huge transition for the kids but I am a new teacher at this school and going into this school year starting from scratch with supplies and lessons. This small bundle of resources will immensely help me kick off the new school year with being properly supplied to engage my students! The array of materials in this project are to support student participation and interaction between classmates. I find kids learn best when they experience learning! The goal of the materials are so that I can more easily facilitate meaningful experiences so that students can have fun learning and be highly involved with their learning. The traveling whiteboard, student white boards and easel pads are to enhance different perspectives so that student can learn in a variety of ways and not always looking straight at a board in the front of the classroom. Movement means engagement and a moveable whiteboard and hands on individual boards provide that. At our school printers are hard to come by. In order to make copies we have to have it sent in to a company located in another building with at least 2 days notice. Having a printer in the classroom would be a game changer for last minute ideas, printing out modifications on the spot for certain students, or thinking on the fly and altering a lesson that could require hard copies.
