In second grade money matters! Students must learn how to identify and count coins, and apply mathematical reasoning to solving real life money problems. In addition, it is recommended by our school to incorporate technology into our daily lessons. To do that we need more Chromebooks to create small group instruction. With Chromebooks in the classroom, my students can go onto their differentiated lessons and classroom Seesaw page to complete online money activities, as well as watch online videos on financial literacy. Not to mention, having more Chromebooks available will allow my students the opportunity to take a device home should we have the need to go back to distance learning.
