My students are bright, fun, musical and creative. They pick up Beatles songs from tablature off the Internet and write their own songs. What they learn from me or on their own they share with each other. I wish you could see them. They come before school and after school to learn more about music and the guitar. Our school is an IB school with a broad spectrum of ethnicities and nationalities. My students come from homes where over 20 languages are spoken. They are highly involved in learning and in service to the community. We have some of the highest academic scores in our district, but have one of the lowest budgets.
