Having a treasure box filled with kid-friendly goodies is a great incentive for students to complete quality work in school and at home. When students know that their hard work and positive behavior is being noticed, they strive even harder to do the best they can! I also believe in teaching students to be independent by giving them individualized goals to reach each week. Having a treasure box to visit to receive a reward if they make their goal will be a great incentive for them. After being out of school for so long, I think this will give my students something to look forward to.
