How can I better help students to enjoy the love of reading? By creating an environment that will foster a love of learning! I plan on creating a cute, comfy reading nook utilizing flexible seating such as stools and pillows to allow my students to relax and dive deep into their books. While I work with students at their individual levels around the guided reading table, the other students will work independently in the reading corner. They will get to read free-choice books at their own pace to list in their reader's notebooks. Their best work is done in a comfortable and safe environment such as a reading nook.
