These materials will transform my classroom into a flexible seating room. This means that there will be several seating choices for students to choose from when working on a task. Research has shown that giving students choices in their work spaces helps them to work collaboratively, communicate more effectively, and engage in critical thinking. Students will have the choice to work at a standard desk or using a flexible seating option. Making students excited for learning and school increases their learning while present. Flexible seating is only able to be used if a student is on task and learning their best.
