3rd graders need frequent movement breaks throughout the day to help with focus and engagement. Many students enjoy taking a break from working at their desk and being able to work on the floor. Lap Desks will allow my students to have a choice in where they sit for certain activities. This helps them move, build responsibility, and be responsive to their own learning styles. Lap desks also help when using iPads as students won't experience "laptopitis" from bad posture. It's also pretty cool when you're 8 and can sit on the floor and work at school!
