I teach students with disabilities such as behavioral disorders, emotional disturbances, and other unspecified behavioral issues that make learning in the regular education classroom difficult. These covers will soften and diffuse fluorescent light and help prevent eyestrain and headaches. They will also provide a calm environment when the world around them is too great to deal with at the current time. Research shows that light sensitivity can manifest in migraine-related headaches and visual and behavioral changes due to the lower neurological threshold for environmental stimuli. Success is found in a calm learning environment.
