Being able to hold and learn from a model or use an indicator in a lab to find lipids is a fantastic way for students to reach NGSS standards and provide them with real experiences conducting experiments and analyzing the results to connect concepts in class with real world experiences. These supplies will help my 1st semester Biology students complete projects that they would otherwise just have to do on paper or watch a video of to understand due to lack of supplies and funding. These hands-on experiences will students grasp the complex concepts introduced in this course.

About my class
