Students will create free art when participating in the free art center. This self-created free art reflects their inner creativity and helps develop a sense of accomplishment. When children are creating art they are working on so many skills. Children are able to develop numerous age-appropriate developmental skills while creating! Students increase fine motor skill development, cognitive skill development, self-help skills, and emotional development all while playing. When students are able to explore their creativity there are numerous ways to have teachable moments while students are simply having fun! I hope that through this project with the Colorations Jumbo Washable Watercolor Classroom Pack & glue we are able to inspire a future generation of learners.
