In the two years that I have taught second grade, my students have had to borrow books from the school library, or share books from our classroom library. Post pandemic, my goal is to have my students come to school excited to learn. By having new non-fiction books, it will allow me to connect to Writer's Workshop in a more meaningful way. Students will also have the chance to have 1:1 non fiction books when engaging in their research. All in all, I would like to bring students a love for reading and writing.

About my class
