Students will be able to use this in the counselor's office to help them calm down. With a school year starting up, many students may feel anxiety when they have to return to school in person! Being back at school can be scary after the pandemic, so I want to make sure the students feel comfortable and safe at school. Creating a calming corner will not only provide a relaxing area for the students, but it will also provide a place for students to freely come when they need to talk about something on their minds. It is a small office but I believe that adding a couple of bean bag chairs and a couch will really help the students to see that school isn't something to be afraid of.
