Our high school students will be taking their ELPAC test to show their progress in learning English. For our English Learners at the high school level, this assessment is of tremendous importance as it can allow them to reclassify from ELD class and have greater access to opportunities in high school and college. As we know, most high school students do not eat breakfast, and at times they don’t eat at all at school; hence, the lack of focus. Donations to this project will ensure that all students have something to eat before they test. My biggest wish is to see these students showcasing how much they have learned this year despite the ongoing pandemic. I don't want hunger to stand in the way of their success!
