My students are from a low income area and have little to no access to good literature at their reading level. These materials will enrich the classroom by allowing students to choose reading that is appropriate for their own independent levels. Imagine curling up to a great book, only for it to be too difficult for you? This library will help eliminate that feeling for many students. The magazines will be used to help teach students about the world around them as part of their SS class, which I also teach. They will learn about current events and the wonderful part of this subscription is that I am also able to vary the reading levels with the digital copies.
