To help promote the "No child left behind" act, it is imperative for me to work with students in small groups. The large whiteboard will allow me to model problem solving examples at my small group table, while providing excellent visuals to help my students to gain mastery of the TEK. The students will use small whiteboards to demonstrate their work so I can check for understanding. The headphones are used for state mandate iStation math on their Chromebooks. This is also done during another portion of our daily math station rotations. The snacks will be given to students who forget their daily snacks. Nourishment is imperative for learning. In addition to math, I also teach science. This year, I have placed planet models around the classroom and on the ceiling. The galaxy night light will provide a fun opportunity to demonstrate "night time" or the evening rotation of our twenty-four hour day/night cycle. The carpet numbers allow me to continue to promote social distancing as we enter back into the classroom during a pandemic. All other supplies will be given to students who did not have any or for me to use as I create and develop lessons in both math and science. I believe hands-on and visuals are the best way to learn and all of these items on the list will allow me to do just that!
