Imagine utilizing technology to code and then seeing your work come to life. Using a Sphero with your small group to complete a specified task will allow students to ask questions, explore ideas, generate a model that can be attached to the Sphero, evaluate and explain. Students will learn that it is alright to make mistakes and they can change the code based on the information that they gathered. Motivating students to learn computer programming in a fun way! This will help all students to learn with a hands-on approach that combines technology application and engineering. Perseverance is the key and we learn through making mistakes! Wouldn't it be wonderful for the students in the classroom that have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder to program and recognize that the codes they used actually move objects?
