Our K-8 school has never had a yearbook. This summer we received a donation of a mix of 20 older model cameras. None came with SD cards or card readers so we can’t use them. We are now offering a Multimedia course where students will finally learn how to create videos and take pictures (not with their phones). These cards and card readers will enable us to preserve the memories that are being made across campus and show evidence of students’ learning and engagement in a yearbook and school news broadcast. Students will also use cameras to document their learning in history and language arts.
