Individual whiteboards are a powerful learning tool for both the teacher and the students. When students have whiteboards at their fingertips they can do so many things to aid with their learning and from the teacher's perspective I can quickly see who understands and who doesn't.
Whiteboards make learning engaging and fun! Who doesn't love writing with dry erase markers?! It really takes the students' engagement level to the next level and gives me the opportunity to do a variety of games and activities with the students.
Another major wish for our class is a bluetooth speaker. My current speakers are corded and are hanging on by their last wire. I use my speakers daily for classroom instructional videos, and calming music for a productive work environment.
Other materials our classroom really needs is storage carts - I would love to have rolling carts for my classroom to make student materials easily accessible and knowing where everything is will help save me time searching for "that stack of papers" and I can make the most of the time I have with the students. I would also utilize these carts for having a place for students to access math centers and enrichment activities they can do if they finish their work before other students.
These are some many things that would significantly improve the quality of learning in our classroom!
