Over the past 18 months, students have faced unexpected challenges in regards to their education due to the pandemic. My young students have had to adapt and rely heavily on technology. Through it all they have maintained their excitement to learn. This project will allow students to break from a technology rich world with a step into the world of books. "Books are like a movie for the mind!" - Former student So many students are hesitant readers or simply don't think reading is "cool" anymore. It is my mission to help students fall in love with reading. Many hesitant readers haven't found the right book, genre, or author to spark their interest. As I'm able to build my classroom library, students have more opportunities to sample books from a variety of genres.
