Colored visuals are necessary for students with autism to gain independence in their daily routines at school. We use them for schedules, transitions, and life skills. When icon prompts are black and white (our only option) these icons do not stand out in the mind of a child with autism. I serve 5 autism classrooms in a general education elementary school. These kids deserve the best and our teachers deserve the tools to give them that. Please help support our 50 students get the life skills they deserve towards independence a printer and ink.
