I can often adapt projects or activities that I find across my three different curriculums so more students will benefit. My students always tell me the activities I find on Teachers Pay Teachers make the class fun and memorable instead of just sitting and taking notes the whole class. Sometimes the activities take the whole class to complete or I use them to fill a few minutes at the end of the class so kids are learning and engaged right up to the bell instead of trying to line up at the door to end the class. Sometimes students forget what they learned in the note taking but when I say “remember when we did ______ activity and you learned how to ______” and they are able to recall how to solve those problems. Hands on activities like these leave a lasting impression on students because they are fun.
