When stories are read to children they develop fluency, listening skills, and comprehension. Having these listening stations will help the students independently develop these skills during stations. They will play the CD and follow along in their book. As the author reads, they can hear the periods, pauses, tone, and emotion of the story. They will have fun developing necessary reading skills that will service them way beyond kindergarten. This project is sustainable and can be used year after year with careful instruction on correct usage and teacher monitoring. Thank you for donating your time in reading and I hope you consider donating not for me, but for my students future reading endeavors.
