When students are learning a new language, it is essential that they have authentic resources to read. This helps them learn new vocabulary and give context for the new words. Authentic resources engage the student more, compared with rote learning. I want to make reading a group experience with these readers. Students can read the article, discuss it with a partner, then answer questions as a class. Students are able to see cultural aspects of other countries, as well as see the similarities they have to each of those countries.

About my class
