In my classroom we use hundreds charts for everything while we learn Math. The students use paper hundreds charts to count up and back. They look for number patterns and count by 2's, 5's, and 10's while moving their fingers. SO many students lose track of where they start and how many numbers they count. I saw these poppers and thought WOW they would be PERFECT so we didn't keep losing our place! I could write the numbers on the dots and the children could push down a dot and have a visual so they know where they started. It's also something they can touch and manipulate so they can see what is happening when they subtract or add. These would make a huge difference for so many children as they are developing a better sense of numbers.
