Flexible seating is beneficial in more ways than one. It allows them to rock, bounce, wobble, fidget and move in anyway they want. Young students love to move to stay focused. Think like twirling your hair while reading a book. Flexible seating can also increase core strength. Core strength is directly related to staying focused. Staying focused is extremely important for learning and comprehension. Not only do students need the option of movement, but being able to see different colors and seating in a classroom helps keep their brain stimulated.
