My students are eager, wonderful 3rd graders living in a high poverty, urban neighborhood. Despite the many challenges they face in their community, they all possess an obvious desire to learn and overcome the achievement gap of which they have been forced to be a part. My 3rd graders have so much potential: they can and will grow into the scholars and life long learners they all can be.

About my class
