We have had a long year of distancing and remote learning. Now, I want to give my students a shared reading experience to bring a sense of fellowship into my classroom. By giving each student a copy of their own chapter book, I hope to give students the opportunity to read together with friends, on their own, or take home to share with their family. As a teacher, I want to encourage my students to read, but I also hope to instill a sense of independence and responsibility by giving them their own copy to carry with them. I hope these books will welcome my students into my classroom and give them a memory when they depart. Let's help students experience a love of reading together!
