Help me give my students the ability to experience the life cycle through the stem-focused activity of looking out for life in a way they never thought possible. Having a chicken coop on campus will allow students to have a responsibility while learning common core standards. Students will be able to track food by weight (amount) and given a certain time (timekeeping) while being able to make adjustments to the coops living conditions like hay or heating laps (temperature and environment). The building blocks will allow the students to build their own presentations of the chicken coops while getting to visit and care for chickens of their own. The building blocks will also be used for students to share their thoughts and ideas of a chicken's life. Building blocks will also be used to allow each student to express their ideas in any stem activity when needed.
