This is our first semester back to traditional learning after a whirlwind of adjustments due to the pandemic. With nearly all of our students returning to in-person learning, our school is placing an emphasis on small group instruction to meet the needs of every student. Having a kidney-shaped table in a small group setting will increase my students' participation and engagement in the lesson. I have seen improvement in their academics, as well as their socio-emotional health, when they have more individualized attention and focus in close proximity to me.
