This year we are climbing to new heights as we embrace challenges, try new things, and stay determined in first grade. With the help of donors, we will be able to create small mindful groups, engaging and diverse centers, and opportunities for challenging, creative play. We will remind each other that we can do hard things and that goals are achievable. Students in our classroom community will utilize the mindfulness activities and cards to build a toolbox of strategies for self-control and self-management. First grade is a year where we learn how to be independent thinkers, accountable risk-takers, and realize that we can help others along the way. Our class will move mountains while being safe and secure along the way!

About my class
