With these new books, my students will have the ability to choose a variety of books to read independently. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. These new books will help my students grow stronger in reading and be more confident. My students will be excited to read when they find different books of their interest and on their reading level where they are able to comprehend the reading. I also want to be able to have read-aloud with my students and then allow them to read independently. I am a first year 4th grade teacher in a co-taught classroom and I want my students to have access to a classroom library with a variety of different reading levels.
