Podcasts have a way of inviting both creators and listeners to new learning opportunities. The format allows deep dives into issues and stories that would otherwise not be told. I am a new librarian in a high school that is quite rural and has little diversity. My students would really benefit from the opportunity to research, write, collaborate, and communicate through podcasting. This equipment would help them learn the process of podcasting as well as see the value we place in having their voices and growing heard by authentic audiences.

About my class
