As a teacher, I want my students to feel welcomed, safe and excited to be learning. I am asking for materials that would help me create a tranquil classroom experience for my gifted 3rd grade students. I am a first year teacher and do not have the funds for basic items like an electric pencil sharpener, markers or books. Let alone flexible seating options or items that would elevate the learning environment. I believe that making students comfortable in the classroom and offering positive incentives will help students do their best! 3rd grade is a very stressful time for 8-9 year olds as this is their first year of standardized testing. I want to make this year a great and fun experience of learning! Your donation is truly going to make a difference in my students learning experience. Thank you for even considering my classroom!
