First grade students will use a class set of headphones to access individualized lessons on school devices through apps like Seesaw and Epic. Individualized headphones will enable students to optimize learning throughout the day. Numeracy, literacy, phonics, and phonemic awareness lessons can be individualized and progress monitored. Students can access materials they missed from their previous quarantine year, increase exposure to lessons and enable them to catch up on core learning and foundational skills to move toward grade-level curriculum. Headphones are a crucial role in progress monitoring and filling in learning gaps.
