My classroom is a bilingual classroom. These students are learning a second language on top of everything else! Hands-on items will help them grasp concepts and in turn, let them be teachers to peers! To be successful writers, my students will need an independent station where they can have access to all of their writing and math materials. They will learn how to be organized like a writer and become an illustrator by using colors. They also need hands-on activities to be successful in their learning experiences. When they practice math they also use the writing to demonstrate and illustrate their thinking. Sometimes the most simple of supplies allow for the best learning to take place. We appreciate your kindness!
