I am a first year teacher in a special education/behavior classroom. I have students from third to fifth grade, which are all boys! I am looking forward to a flexible seating classroom while working on academics, coping skills, social skills, executive functioning and mindfulness. We focus daily on social emotional learning! With the materials, I will be making a safe, calming corner for my students when they are feeling overwhelmed. I want my classroom to be a safe, secure environment where they can thrive on academics and goals. I am excited to see what this new year brings.
