The floor chairs will be used to help students not only feel comfortable at school, but also to be more engaged. I have many students that need to have their own space on the floor to have high engagement. Right now, they are just having to sit on the floor with no back support. These students also need to be close to the board and me as they are still learning English, while my other students are moving at a faster pace. Overall, these chairs will help my English Language Learners have a space that they will feel comfortable in and be in closer proximity to the resources that help them not fall behind in their learning. The book/binder bins will help my students stay organized and give students a space that is their own. They will contain books at their reading level and other reading resources that each individual student needs to be a successful reader. These holders will be personal as well and they will help hide the stigma that comes with having students at different reading levels. Each student will have with they need in their holder, without having to worry about the level that other students are reading at.
