The students that make my classroom whole come to me with various disabilities, including those that make regulating emotions challenging. With the materials in this lesson I will be able to create a safe space for students to go when they are feeling overwhelmed with emotions. The books will be used in social emotional learning lessons, and will be available for students to read on their own. The furniture will provide students with comfort and privacy. Students will be given the tools to help regulate their emotions and get back on track!
