From this challenging past academic year, we have seen how many of our students have not had the opportunity to talk about feelings, expressions, or how they might be changing and learning more about themselves as they get older. With the items that I am requesting for this project, my students will be able to have the tools and materials to help guide them towards accepting the old or new feelings that they may be experiencing with coming back to the classroom. With these materials, my students can become confident in how they feel, and not be ashamed in who they are. The fidget tools that I am requesting can be used by any learner at any time. These tools ensure that no matter the learning level the students are at, they can help to get their feelings and expressions out. The flexible seating that I am requesting will allow students to be expressive with their learning style, and to not be restricted to their individual desk or the floor. Overall, these materials will be used to help my students learn effortlessly and without feeling hindered by the feelings and emotions that come with returning to school.
