The materials I have chosen for my class are based off my last 4 years of being an ESL teacher, in a Title I school, in Texas and observing how math activities that allow students to be hands-on are beneficial in the class. These items will be helpful in building numbers to 120 and in allowing students to practice addition and subtraction in small groups. These activities will also allow for communication between the student and I, as we discuss what they completed. I am excited to use these materials in the class on a daily basis and for the students to display their learning.
