Students will be creating and producing a morning news show using our current green screen technology and iPad. However, we do not currently have a computer with easy-to-use programs, like iMovie, to not only produce our shows, but also use to tell stories, go back in time to reenact moments in history, or travel to space while giving a presentation on our solar system. The technology currently used by my students is old and outdated. They need state-of-the-art technology that shows them their potential and possibilities for their future while they may not see any future when not in our building. Our students come from low-income families and I want to make sure they know the world is out there for them to see during their time with me!
