One of my biggest goals for the year is to tie music making and exploration to literature. I have participated in several workshops over the past year, where children's literature was the focal point for movement, sound exploration, singing, and many other creative activities in general music lessons. Music is proven to support literacy skills. I hope to integrate these books into my lessons to further spark students' interest in reading, create more student-led activities, and (of course) have fun while we learn and play! Help me build my library!
