I want my sweet first graders to know that everyone is special, unique and incredible. When students read stories or are read aloud stories they can see themselves in and identify with, they are more likely to understand, to dream, to love and to be a good friend. I also want them to know that unique heritages and differences among their friends are celebrated and important. I want them to learn to truly love themselves for who they are and to love others for who they truly are as well.

About my class
