As we come back together, learning in small groups is important to foster student relationships as well as differentiate instruction to better support my students social and academic growth. Small group instruction and cooperative learning have a significant impact on students confidence and academic achievement. As students work together in small groups with the teacher, having a dedicated space will help them feel comfortable to express their ideas. The white board table will give students a place to interact with their learning and encourage participation. It will help give students a sense of ownership over the presentation of their work.
