If this project is fully funded I will use the materials to help bridge the educational gap felt by some due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of my incoming students did not get a true Pre-K experience and these materials will help me bridge the gap while still helping them become successful in Kindergarten. Items such as the puppet set and food will enhance students speaking and language development as we learn about diverse cultures and farm to table concepts. It is my hope that these items will truly help bring learning to life in our classroom by fostering creativity and developing a foundational love of learning!
