English can be a stale topic for students, so I seek to amplify project-based learning in my classroom. Students are constantly choosing from various project ideas to connect our lesson (Kite Runner, October Sky, etc.) to real-life situations. All my supplies aim to create a fun, creative environment in which to work! Furthermore, students know when a classroom is stocked. Scissors, markers, highlighters, etc. are all basic necessities in an English classroom - in any classroom. You don't know what all these supplies means to a classroom. There's basics, and there are fun items. I want learning to be FUN for my kiddos, and I want teaching to be FUN. Kids are inundated with technology, constantly, and I want them to come to my classroom, stimulate themselves with creative means, and learn about all things English!
